Williams Haulage become a member of UK Pallets.

As a member of the UK pallet network, we are able to offer all customers a Nationwide and European Express Pallet delivery service. We are extremely excited about the prospect of offering this service and feel that as the recession has forced businesses to review their logistics costs, more and more customers are seeing how the Networks are a good way of distributing goods. UK pallets currently boast a 99.3% on time delivery performance.

A Local Service with National Strength

UK Pallets combines the strength of over 80 members, each one a logistics and distribution
specialist with a national network that provides total UK coverage for the time definite
delivery of palletised consignments.
Operating as a stand alone business within the Business Post Group, UK Pallets is part of
one of the country’s largest and most successful express delivery companies. It is now one
of the largest operators in the rapidly growing express pallet delivery market.

The Total Logistics Solution

Working closely with its member companies, UK Pallets provides a complete solution to
the most complex distribution needs. Add in the wide range of express delivery services
operated by the Business Post Group as a whole and customers can benefit from a total
logistics solution.

The National Network

The national member network provides the entry point to the UK Pallets system. Located
in all key business centres nationwide, each UK Pallets member is a specialist logistics and
distribution company. Through this network, UK Pallets has over 1 million square feet
of warehousing space and a fleet of more than 1000 vehicles dedicated to the ‘on time’
delivery of palletised consignments.

National Network Facilities

At the heart of this network is the UK Pallets National Distribution Centre, located at
Fradley Park, near Lichfield. This 140,000 sq ft pallet sorting facility is the link between
the local collection and delivery services provided by the member network. Also located
here is the national Consignment Control Centre, with a dedicated team of specialists
who control and monitor every consignment handled by UK Pallets and manage
communications across the network.

Total Control & Information

Accurate, fast information on the delivery status of a consignment is as important as
its actual delivery. Up to the minute proof of delivery information is available online at
www.ukpallets.biz and signed POD documents can be viewed and printed.

European Services

For services to and from Europe, UK Pallets links to other pan-European networks in
order to manage deliveries of parcels, pallets, groupage and part load consignments.
From the European Distribution Centre (EDC) at Fradley Park, Lichfield, daily scheduled
departures run directly to most European destinations. Furthermore, by linking into the
extensive Business Post International network, UK Pallets can also offer a worldwide
parcels delivery service.
