Role Profile
Williams Haulage Ltd is a 4PL for a leading global manufacturer.
We are currently looking to recruit a Despatch Operative (Tractor Driver)
The position is full time Monday-Friday ) 08:00 – 17:00 based in Corwen but flexibility required to work from Deeside and Sandycroft (Nr Deeside) to cover despatch holidays.
Skills & Experience
- Operating tractor under current SSOW
- Operating tractor in a safe and proficient manner
Moving finished goods from end of production to storage area;
- Coupling trailers, manoeuvring into parking areas, uncoupling trailers
- Move trailers back to production area for re-work, loading spares
Pick an prepare trailers for loading;
- Pick trailers from despatch note, mark off when located
- Check for and report damages
- Prepare trailer for loading as per SSOW
