This year, we transformed strategic investments into measurable growth by scaling up our operations to meet our customers’ needs. By upgrading our fleet and expanding our team, we have successfully entered new markets and forged stronger relationships with customers. These improvements are already delivering real value to our growing customer base.
A Trusted Logistics Partner
At the start of the year, a global food packaging manufacturer appointed us to manage its UK logistics requirements. We expanded our fleet and recruited new drivers accordingly. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to meeting our customers’ needs through guaranteed service quality, reliability and scalability.
Our relationship with our existing customer base continues to go from strength to strength. With distribution networks expanding in 2025, we’ve been proud to provide scalable transport capacity and a dependable service to accommodate continued growth. With a shared focus on reducing environmental impact, our investment in a modern, fuel-efficient fleet is delivering sustainable logistics across our customers’ networks.
Driving Efficiency
We have invested in nine new Volvo FH Aeros, Volvo’s most aerodynamically efficient long-haul vehicle to date. Its new shape has been designed to reduce drag on motorways, bringing down fuel consumption, lowering costs and reducing emissions. The state-of-the-art camera monitoring system improves driver visibility and efficiency.
For our customers, this investment means fewer delays, more predictable transit times, safer handling of goods, and greater overall service reliability. A greener supply chain and support for sustainability targets are made possible by improved aerodynamics and lower emissions. With this modern, efficient fleet, we’re better equipped to meet evolving customer needs now and in the future.
Behind The Wheel
At a time when skilled drivers are in short supply across the country, we are delighted to have recruited new Class 1 drivers to support our growing business. We are proud to see young drivers coming up through the ranks, and our newest team members have taken great pride in their work, providing an excellent service to our valued customers.
Investing in Operational Excellence
We have also strengthened our operations team with the arrival of Bobby Barrett, who joined us as a Transport Operations Manager. Bobby brings over 15 years of experience leading large-scale transport functions and has a strong track record for fleet optimisation and route technology innovation. His focus on growth, sustainability and efficiency will further enhance the service we provide to our customers.
Giving Back
Supporting our local community is important to us all at Williams. Earlier this year, our team laced up their running shoes to take part in the Wrexham Half Marathon and the Wrexham 10K, raising an incredible £4,439 for Cancer Research UK and £555 for Shelter Cymru. Thank you to everyone who donated and cheered us on.

2026 looks set to be another successful year, as we will continue to focus on developing our people and optimising our fleet.
