Williams is delighted to announce a major investment in our transport capabilities with the arrival of a new LST trailer. While the industry talks about using AI to streamline processes, our AI vision is bolder – practical, purposeful, and focused on making a difference where it matters. The industry is facing increased pressure to improve efficiency and minimise impact; AI alone will not solve these challenges. At Williams, we believe progress requires practical action, which is why we’re making another significant investment in our fleet. This new longer semi-trailer will increase our carrying capacity and reduce the number of journeys per load, reflecting our commitment to delivering more sustainable transport solutions and greater value with every mile.
Real Efficiency Improvements on the Road
Our new 16.15m LST trailer provides an additional 2.05m of trailer length. That’s 15% more capacity than a standard trailer, saving an incredible 115 standard 52-pallet loads per year! With more products transported per journey, we can maximise load efficiency while reducing pressure on road networks.

By reducing overall mileage and the number of journeys required, our LST trailer will help customers improve operational efficiencies while reducing environmental impact.
